Social Media Manager Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Media expert to join our team, as we continually experience growth and expansion.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of our social media communities (including publishing, engagement, managing creative processes, advertising execution) across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, etc.

Develop and execute social media strategies, follower growth & engagement strategies, content strategies and communication protocols. Identify and build audience-targeting recommendations for social media advertising.
Think bigger than ‘Likes.’ Engage with each client to create an experience that not only generates conversions but turns social channels into networks of brand ambassadors.

Promote a brand image through social media that embodies the company’s mission and direction.
Create, curate, proof and schedule all published content (images, video and copy), ensuring compliance to all image usage and plagiarism rules and boundaries Monitor news feeds to find relevant content for social media.

Pin, retweet, favorite, and respond to posts in various social media outlets to engage and expand our presence across all social media.

Monitor daily social media activity.

Research competitors’ use of social media to ensure that our programs stay ahead of the industry norm.

Successful candidates will have:

3+ years professional experience in a social-media specific role

Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to secure engagement as well as knowledge of social media consumer behaviors and trends.

Curiosity when it comes to innovative, creative uses of social channels

Experience with social media posting, monitoring and measurement tools and processes

Ability to develop and direct creation of specific editorial content that will measurably improve brand awareness and conversions

Excellent attention to detail while working under tight deadlines and within budget

Excellent written grammar and communication skills, high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently

Results driven; high initiative level; team player

BS/BA in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field
